How do I connect with Walnut Hills?
Walnut Hills is dedicated to welcoming and connecting with visitors and new members of the congregation.
We want everyone to feel welcomed at Walnut Hills, whether you are a first time visitor or a long time member.
We hope you will note our goal of being intentional with our welcome before you even walk in the door. We have identified several visitor parking places just east of the main entrance of the church and we have greeters stationed at the front door each Sunday to warmly welcome you as you enter. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask the greeters for assistance.
It is tradition at Walnut Hills to use nametags. To help all of us be intentional in our welcoming role, we have visitor nametags. We invite you to wear a visitor nametag the first few times you attend. The nametag table is located in the Gathering Area before you enter the Celebration Center of the church.
A Welcome Kiosk is also located in the Gathering Area as you enter the church. Here you will find information about our programming, room locations and a friendly smile along with someone to answer your questions. Please stop by. Pick up brochures of interest as well as a coupon for a free refreshment in our Coffee House, located just beyond the Welcome Kiosk.
I am interested in Walnut Hills, how do I learn more?
If you are interested in learning more about Walnut Hills, don’t hesitate to complete the information section of the STUB. This is a great way for us to connect with those new and not so new to the church. Just jot your name and contact information on the info sheet along with a note about anything you would like more information about, and the appropriate staff will follow up. Just place the info sheet in the offering plate during the church service.
If you are interested in joining Walnut Hills, or simply want more information about us, feel free to join us for one of our Taste of Walnut Hills. These sessions are held immediately following 2nd service and typically held twice a year, fall and late winter. However individuals may join throughout the year. Specific dates for Taste of Walnut Hills are located in the Sunday bulletin. A light lunch is provided during the orientation and child care for those with a need.
